four
i sit at my desk wondering how this could happen, my blog has become a message board for donnald miller fans. i guess i'll live, val i know you wanted to know, i'm curently eating the p.c. white macaroni and cheese that i bought at no frills. no frills is a fantastic place, what i love about no frills is that people chose not to buy the bags, the bags are five cents and yet people think they are saving so much money when really they are saving no more then a dollar and if you need twenty bags then you are probably spending over three hundred dollars on groceries and in which case, is struggling to find boxes really worth it? but then the best part is that since they don't buy bags they don't have bags for the garbage so then they will buy those expensive white glad gargage bags. no frills is also great because they have dollar-days, dollar-days should be called grocery-store-full-of-student-days. living away from home i have learned that grocery shopping is no fun at all, but i have done pretty good and in living cheap on the groceries, there are four secrets about grocery shopping that all students should know: 1. buy at least 5-10 michelina meals when they are on sale for a dollar not all of them smell like poo, you never know when the next sale will be. 2. get the no name mr. noodles they cost 5 cents cheaper but taste just as good if not better. 3. don't buy anything that can go bad unless your are a cereal eater, in which case buy milk, but that is the only exception. 4. instead of buying breakfeast food just get some tumms, tumms will take away the hunger pain and will hold you over till lunch. take heed to these grocery tips, they can save you lots of money. today i am listening to kj-52 for those of you who are keep track. thankyou. have a nice day.

No one comment, okay... its time to boycott this blog altogether unless you are going to use it as a discussion board for things that have nothing to do with Matt and his blog, okay?
Matt is just having way too much fun with this blogging thing.
does anyone else wish they could go on a roller coaster right now?
matty,
nice point about the bags bro. i want that extra nickel! i want that extra nickel so bad im going to drop my groceries on the way out the door cause they're too hard to carry without a bag. THEN AGAIN, its all about the recycling!!! i think i actually have to agree with the non-grocery-baggers...even though they've made carrying groceries an art! gnight!
Look out for Matt, he'll be the one with scurvy in about a day or so!
Matt, I just pasted this comment in
Told you you could
Mat. I really am amazed at how sucked in I have become by your entries. If you keep posting, I am destined to fail university. My only advice to you, as Miriam and I discussed earlier tonite: spell check on occasion. Nevertheless, you are oh so right about the grocery tips, but the tums trick is new to me. Does it really work?
Foreman, another 3 minutes wasted, thanks for the food tips, if we all take your eating advice will we be as huge as you are? You must be into triple digits weight wise now? No longer the grade 12 78 pound weakling?
sad...i love grocery shopping...i wish i was at school right now...i would take care of you... teach you what it means to have fruits and veggies...mmmm and you know what...meat even!!!perhaps i will cook something and drop it off for your room someday... wait... luke wont share nicki with you? you know he eats well most days...doesnt seem fair to me... and yes brad...a roller coaster would be fun...
Matt's blog says his day starts with tums,
And he survives by eating mere crumbs.
He thinks it's all right
But it gives me a fright
cuz that skinny blog writer's my son!
Hey Matt! I found your blog via that Oronia Dan Frew. Perhaps you could add your name to the Apostolic succession of KLBC SC Presidents - here. Maybe we'll see you at preview days :) Nice to meet you.
Hey Matty,
I'm not sure if I should thank you or slap you (figuratively of course, you're sooo much taller than I am now, I wouldn't be able to reach)for introducing me to blogging. I am now a devoted reader of yours and Dan's, and you have both disappointed me tremendously. It's been days now since either of you have blogged. What's the meaning of this outrage? You should be selflessly sitting at the computer blogging your every adventure. We now live vicariously through you - you can't just leave us hanging for days on end. If your presidential duties or womanizing ways (by the way, these are things you should be telling us about), are getting in the way, you need to rethink your priorities. Anyway, look forward to chatting again with you soon, and reading another exciting installment of "A Day in the Life...".
By the way, for anyone else I used to know out there reading these comments - feel free to use Matty's blog as a segway for letting me know how you're doing!
;)
p.s. or is it segueway? Dan? I need your expertise!
Hi Cacti!!!!!!Good to see your name appear here in cyberspace :) Hope to see you back in Ottawa for a visit sometime! We should get each other's emails. Maybe from Matt or Dan!
Mim,
I'll give you a hint....
part I: see name
part II: sympatico.ca
matt, i've never met you, but if i were to be honest, you sound kind of arrogant.........a handsome young man? and i think you should use a dictionary or spell checker......the president of student COUNSEL?? it's actually COUNCIL....i think that by identifying yourself as president, and calling yourself handsome, you may be giving people the wrong impression about the school.....
Cacti,
What you clearly do not understand is the painstaking process that writing a blog is. Not just anybody can put out these high quality products on a daily, or every-other-day-ly basis. Michealangelo didn't create "Starry Night" in one sitting. Rodin didn't sculpt "David" over night... Geez! It takes time and effort. Give us a break.
dear anonymous:
its part of his charm...see he is kinda little...so he needs a big ego to make up for it. what he doesn't realize is it is irrelevant... why? because he is a sens fan...so people want to beat him up even if he does appear to be bigger than he his with the added ego inches. although, despite being a sens fan, he is a handsome little fella', and he is the president, so its not like he lied...
I would have to agree that it doesn’t say much about the school.
Or maybe it just reveals the students inability to pick a leader.
I take extreme umbrage at Nicole's statement about Matt's team affiliation. What Matt shows by being a Sens fan is that he is wise beyond his years, and clearly knows a team who is worth one's loyalty. GO SENS GO!!!!
In hindsight I realize that the comment I made earlier was incorrect, and not fair of me to say.
And for that, I am sorry Matt.
oh matty, i will cherish(dont know how to spell), that advice for when i leave home, keep up the good work!!!
